They Hurt When

We have many ways, everyday, that show us our endurance. The Lord said He that endureth to the end and although He specifically referred to living righteously and not yielding to temptation, implicitly is the faith we have that pain and suffering with not overwhelm us that we lose focus of His love. Sometimes pain is a reminder of our strength

They Hurt When

The wind blows

Hurts my ankle to my toes

Every time I feel like I can

Yelp in pain from the breeze off the fan

Heat forces the

Use of the fan frequently

Regular enough to bring on this pain

There is no escaping even after the rain

Why, I cry, why me

Have I not suffered sufficiently

Enough to last a lifetime and more

No my child. the Lord said, I gave you endurance galore
