Take Me By My Hand

There is much uncertainty with change and some changes are even greater than others. Yes, you can get a new hair cut or style and face the responses from family and friends. It takes a while to get used to their chatter but you will adjust. Perhaps the changes that you may go through that are the toughest, are changes of the heart. The neighbor next door no longer bothers you, the boss seems okay since your private meeting and that guy that was always so quirky is gentle and kind.

Take Me By My Hand

Turmoil amidst change and fears prevail

A lifetime of pain new hopes derail

Kind words so tender, kind hearts meet

Emotions lead to the cover of a sheet

Moments of glee replace unhappiness

Ecstasy reached from a lovers kiss

Beauty is no longer skin deep

You go bed frequently but never to sleep

Mind games turn you upside down

You laugh at things not funny and in doubts no frown

Haste to meet with love for more time to waste

All is fine with you it’s the world that’s out of paste

Now you feel out of control, at some one else’s command

Dear Lord I’m falling, please, Take Me By My Hand
