Traffic Light On A Narrow Strip

The road to the Lord is clear. There are no road blocks, no traffic lights, no turn offs. Once you have made that turn to put you on the road then stay on the road. But don’t be confused, there are still many hindrances that may want to cause you to turn round and go the other way. Don’t! Stay on the narrow strip and press onwards.

Matthew7

13   Enter ye inat the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14     Because strait isthe gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few therebe that find it.

John 14

6     Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Traffic Light On A Narrow Strip

Thank you Lord for sending me

Real help to guide to Eternity

Almighty God through your word

Fate is sealed and my testimony heard

Father you have made it very easy

I prayed and you have forgiven me

Cares each day I bring to you

Like a gentle wind you dispel them too

In those times when there is doubt

God, with you guiding hand you cast them out

Health may threaten but there is never despair

Through it all you show Lord how much care

On journeys when I should be weary cause the road is long

No rest is necessary, you make me strong

And the path ahead is very clear

No road blocks and if I call, you draw near

And still they erected lights

Red to stop my forward plights

Ready to control my way to you

O Lord what is there for me to do

When the lights come on they force a stop

Security checks that pose like a spiritual cop

This baffles me Lord because you accepted me

Rid me of sin and declared my soul free

I know Jesus as our only mediator to see us through

Pretenders are like a Traffic Light On A Narrow Strip to You
