Teacher Dearest
My mom had mentioned that a friend wanted something to give a teacher and was going to send along a special card but could find none. I don’t know the lady so I just wrote this general card for all those good teachers out there. We all know that teachers are not all good and that some are motivated by the long vacations and money, but for those like some of my old teachers, this one is for them. Teacher Dearest Training and guiding us the way we must go Educating us in fields of things we should know Arithmetic, Math and Geography Chemistry, Physics and Biology Hygienic habits to protect us from disease and the flu Encouragement to implement the things we knew Righteous grounds to discern right from wrong Drawing, Art, Writing and expressions in song Every stage of our lives teachers were there Always instructing and shielding us from despair Reaching in and pulling characters out Eyes to correct when we frown or pout So many time they have molded a scholar from a would-be
bum Teachers are the keys to who we’ll become |
