A Gasp Of Air

Its was the most crushing feeling I ever had.,

I didn’t know what was wrong and it was time to seek the best but this meant going from doctor to clinic to hospital, through many doctors. No relief came until days of test.

A Gasp Of Air

A tight feeling came beneath my vest

Got no air within my chest

And I fought but to no avail

Something was causing my lungs to fail

Pulmonary disorder from a clot inside

One that emanated in my leg and now reside

Fixed in my lungs to threaten my life

And rob me of ever meeting my wife

I took A Gasp Of Air but nothing, then I turned blue

Respiratory difficulty prevented me from ever saying I do
