Waiting And Hoping

Sometimes the wait seems long and while you wait your mind can get caught in so many teasing, puzzling ideas. Integrity the Bible tells us, will guide us to certainty and drown our anxieties. Calm our whole nature and bring us nearer to perfection. This should be our aim.

Waiting And Hoping

When days drag by

And the nights are long

I feel to cry

Then I hear a song

It plays quietly

No burst of crescendo

Graceful and sweetly

And then I know

Nothing I can do

Dear, nothing I can say

How can I make it through

Or take the wait away

Patience I must show

Integrity to rely

Not on fleeting ideas that grow

Got to have faith and not question Why
