Father Which Art In Heaven

Our Father which art in heaven, you have her again to abide with you. If her work on earth is to be measured by those she brought to you and influence on you path then Father, great shall be her reward. I was fortunate to have her as my teacher and I thank you for making this so. I cannot imagine a life without her at the time she came.

My deepest sympathy to her husband reverend Winston Crichlow her children Mona, Olivia, Peter and Ruthann, her sisters who I know as Eula, Sis, Cirlene, her brother Frederick, her nieces Renee and Gennia and all her other family and friends. Also to my old school mates, the ones still standing out are Oliver Nicholls, Errol Worrell, Ralph Holder, Dwight Brathwaite, and Michael Cummings.

A tribute to Sheilah Velma Walrond Crichlow

Father Which Art In Heaven

Forgive her, any sins, dear Father above

And embrace her now with your undying love

This faithful servant has always been

Honest with her love and from what we have seen

Earnest in prayer and gave you the praise

Righteous in her life, in all of her days

When we met, I was a young kid still very lost

Her guidance calmed my turmoil at minimal cost

I learnt to set aside personal pleasures and to be

Caring for my fellowman and for society

Her tutorship transformed me from dull to bright

And molded a young scholar with a shinning light

Returning to her with any uncertainties

This teacher taught me success comes from being on the knees

I celebrate her life and the blessings it brought

Numerous lost souls like mine who for understanding sought

Her gift Lord you gave and she used it thoroughly

Extended the time she spent teaching me

And now her work is done, you’ve taken her back

Very many may mourn but she left us on track

Embrace her Lord for her life was true

Now Sheilah Velma Crichlow can peacefully reside with you.
