Make A Joyful Noise

I came across Psalm 100 recently as was immediately cast back into my early childhood days when we were conditioned to memorize certain Psalms. Psalm 100 was one of these. I didn’t remember it until about 4 reads and now like riding a bicycle it all came back to me. There are some more Psalms but until I look through them all, I wouldn’t remember them. Except of course for Psalm 23 and 121

Make A Joyful Noise

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands

And serve the Lord with gladness, in His presence sing His commands

Know ye that the Lord, he is God, the one who made us

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and in his courts you must

Always praise him, be thankful and bless his name

Jesus taught us how we can do the same

Our Father made us and not we ourselves

You are sheep of his pasture like treasured books on shelves

For God is good, his mercy is everlasting

Under deep earnest prayer and diligent fasting

Love intercedes and his mercy prevails

No one is forgotten, his love never fails

Our Father’s truths endureth through all generations

In him we can trust, he will meet all expectations

So my friend, with all that he is, is there still doubt?

Evil has no dominion on you, the Lord’s love will keep it out
