The job I had said they will cover me

Had no idea it meant only if I remained healthy

Emergency trip to the doctor happened one day

Until then I was always okay

Now after six months in an illness they fired me

So 20 devoted years bore no importance and they no mercy

Launched me in medical complication and many people to owe

Financial security unbalanced with a nightmare diagnosis

I have some support of others but many don’t have this

So many homeless die because they have no plans on Healthcare

Hundreds of thousands of people die every year

Very many people die because they have no healthcare plan

I can’t imagine what they go through when denied a helping hand

Wealth controls who’ll live and who in sickness must go
