And A Little Child Shall Lead Them

The Bible has directed us to the innocent of a child and sometimes even to simpler life forms to learn to live our lives. A child is blessed with innocent and its uncorrupted spirit if it finds wisdom early and seeks first the kingdom of God, this child can be the power house of knowledge and understanding.

And A Little Child Shall Lead Them

At 7 months the doctor advised her to end the pregnancy

No growth in uterine, so they expected its eventual fatality

Death never came and after her parents prayers

A premature 1.31lbs baby girl came with many happy tears

Little precious gift from God stayed hospitalized

In their care for 4 months little Keziah seemed to realized

The importance of the work but would bawl for mommy and daddy

Their absence she felt when their leaving was necessary

Learnt fast at home and in 10 months she could walk

Even started showing comprehension and in 12 months could talk

Christ had a big influence in their lives and in hers even more

Her devotion was obvious and she was just four

It was then she was Baptized, she asked to be

Last year on Valentine’s Day they held the ceremony

Didn’t know what to make of it, she has foresight

She tells things she shouldn’t know, and has unusual insight

Her many instances are hard to recall but I know a few

A trip to town was futile and all along she knew

Lost in a Department store she took her mother’s hand

“Let me show you where the department is” with polite command

Lived in a house with a secret basement yet she knew it was there

Evening when they wanted to go for pizza, she was already aware

And the new dress for Church couldn’t surprise her

Didn’t hide it properly before she was asking her mother

They ask her how does she know, how can these things be

Her answer may surprise but it’s always “Jesus tells me”

Exceptional vocabulary which sometimes strikes a baffling chord

Miracle child wants to be but is already “A worker for the Lord.”
