The Flaw Of Hee Haw

They say that if the singer Hee Haw was dressed to suit the song he had been singing, he might have been closer to the top. One caller said he was dressed light a king but singing a pauper song. He would have served himself better had he changed his dress.

Not so hard to understand

The Flaw Of Hee Haw

The donkey stopped and was unable to move

He had slipped from his loins and was caught in a grove

Even from the whip he didn’t get out

Fought with every blow and every shout

Like a stallion he was dressed but he could only

Amass the strength of a lowly donkey

When he came he was majestic with a regal stride

Only to slipped and be caught now wanting to hide

For this he was inappropriately dressed

He may have pulled it off with less stress

Every time he tried he tripped on his clothes

Each time he tried under a battery of blows

Hee Haw, Hee Haw and the people would scoff

And those looking on knew, he could never pull it off

When next Hee Haw comes this way he will know

If you want to win, dress appropriately for the Calypso
