Happy Birthday Disc Jockey

I hope I have the date right, I overheard it while walking through the room a few week ago and wrote this then. I also hope that it is still time sensitive. You know how you can say something about someone today and in a few days afterwards you wish you could take your words right back.

The public have been enjoying his radio program; in fact they always enjoy any program he hosts. Sometimes you could even hear his colleagues complementing him on a great show

Happy Birthday Disc Jockey

He’s no superman but he behaves super

A broad smile when he’s happy but oh oh, when things anger

People often misunderstand him and how he will be

Pompousness is never a part of his personality

You are in his good books when you toe the line

Bring only decency and he discerns a truthful sign

I think Dennis is best when he’s given the space

Researching to his leisure to get everything in place

Then his thoroughness exudes like water from a brook

His results are always worth the time that he took

Dennis, my radio friend, you indisputably

Allow for fair opinions from everybody

You serve us well though few of us say

Don’t ever be despondent or ever be dismay

Eyes see the obvious but hearts see the soul

No man should cause you from playing your role

Nothing possible is beyond you as you have shown

It’s good to see how you handle even those unknown

So dear friend, continue

Just do things the way you do

Overlook people’s flaws like you do repeatedly

Have no malice even when others behave deservedly

Notice the beauty of God’s creations as you go by

Support all others when they earnestly try

On that narrow path, stay focus, the Lord will show the way

Never give up and today relax and have A Happy Birthday!
