Hate He

I have no place in my heart for hatred and as such I avoid using the word “Hate” in any of my construction but today, I play on the word as I mix it with he to be a corruption of the country Haiti. I understand that Bajans would normally drop the “h” in he and therefore pronounce Hate He like Haiti. This caused me to give some consideration to the feelings that people may have when they see the people of Haiti

Hate He

He had a spirit simple and sweet

And was a heighten joy to meet

The market place was busy

Every one seem rushed in Haiti

He had the spirit I wish I had

Exposed a soul with just good, no bad
