All Night 'Til Morning

There are few songs that grab me this year but some how their titles do. I heard this title and then I started thinking of my neighbor hood and the problems we get with cooperation. I don’t know that it would be any different if my neighbors give be a fore warning.

I don’t think people should hold noisy parties beyond a certain time; midnight is my cut off period. After that the people can remain but the loud music and vehicular play should cease. Am I being too old and hysterical?

All Night ‘Til Morning

At the corner there was a dance All Night “Til Morning

Loud music and scrambler bikes without any warning

Lights from the cars kept me awake too

Not the traditional beams, theses lights were blue

I never know if you could called the police

Got no response before, though fêtes are disturbing my peace

How often they had before, mattered more to the cop

They can’t intervene or asked the people to stop

There should be some restriction with noise in the neighborhood

I wanted to raise chickens but didn’t think I could

Later they wanted me to get rid of my Rocky

Many were scared of my pit-bull and never crossed freely

Once a guy told me that when I’m on the  job

Rebels tease Rocky looking for if they can rob

Now these same rebels with loud music and scrambler bikes

Intrude the neighborhood and each rebel as he likes

Never bothers to listen to little old me

Getting hysterical at their “All Night ’Til Morning party
