Only Ten Men

Today on Fireworks the hosts interviewed a Calypsonian who didn’t understand how they go from 153 applicants to 10 in such a short space of time.

The two then enjoyed a good laugh speculating what might happen if we went to a function and from the crowd they only let in 10 men.

Only Ten Men

One Crop-Over I went out to party

No more, the man shouted, we got enough men already

Ladies can go in but as for you men

You were warned before, they only letting in ten

They closed the gates in my face

Every man outside was barred from the place

No more, from as early as quarter to nine

Men never got a chance to go in to wind

Every woman inside was feeling the blues

None of them dance without taking off their shoes
