O Father, I've Only This To Give

To an adoring niece who turn 21 on this special day. May her happiness continue with good health and the success of her new family.

I have embedded another acrostic here which I shared with her privately.

O Father I’ve Only This To Give

On Mornings when the plants are in full bloom

Flowers you’ve never seen, gently loom

And though no one is denied their natural beauty

There are few interested enough to stop and see

How wrong that few alone will ever enjoy

Esoteric gifts that communities can deploy

Right around those homes that suffer with stress

In The districts where vagabonds cause people duress

View intricacies of bouquets and the anger will disappear

Every tormented soul will be freed from despair

Open that human sense to perceive

Nothing on the market since Adam and Eve

Learn to initiate good habits through good flowers

Entrances, alleys, hallways and any place we call ours

There are no Restrictions, just plant where you can

Have flowers every where, bouquets are better than

Inanimate, embellishments like plastic fruit

Selected to adorn dollies but flowers will better suit

Take a deep breath and Inhale flowers’ fresh aroma

Open the window to God’s natural cure for some in a coma

Get yourself a booster that nothing else can give

It enhances your health, and it gives you a purpose to live

Violets or Roses, Chrysanthemums or a daffodil

Every flower’s one of God’s blessings, pretty flower from Green Hill
