In Memory Of Michael Jackson

They haven’t stopped as yet. Day after day I hear the many tributes to the King of Pop. I want to go on and do some other things myself but I feel constantly move to write on something about Michael. I had hoped to share some of it with my local newspaper but it seems my limited feelings and skills can’t meet their standards or competition for space is too much. Thankfully, I have you here! Please encourage other to read and comment

In Memory Of Michael Jackson

In spite of the educated leaders from many countries

Nations still remained sworn enemies

Multilateral Summits held year after year

Efforts made to reach similar ground meeting with despair

Michael was very young but a talented kid

Entertained millions in nations with all that he did

Racial barriers were broken with his uniting songs

Young and old took note of their societal wrongs

One man through his industry opened our eyes

Forget Black or White he said and see the Earth’s demise

Music he made was a Thriller and might Heal The World

I saw him encouraged others and their pockets unfurled

Cancer kids and kids terminally ill

He entertained at his Neverland Ranch on Santa Barbara hill

All his life he devoted to charitable living

Empathized with the impoverish with his philanthropic giving

Loved generously and in spite of the talk

Jacko gave musicians videos and dancers the Moonwalk

A troubled soul he might have been but who wouldn’t be

Childhood was taken from him by his family

Kidding around now as a man is his attempt to get back

So many years spent working sound track after sound track

Our lives are the better for having Michael and as I say goodbye

Nothing will hush his legacy, the King of Pop will never die
