As Busy As A Bee

By their nature, despite how beautiful they are, bees are dangerous and one should be very careful when attempting to catch them. I may have caught my bee but they were many other that left their stingers in me. The first time I was stung, I ran as fast as I can to my grandmother for help. Some where I wrote about this before but I can’t get my fingers on it.

As Busy As A Bee

A long time ago, dear, I caught a bee

She never used her stingers on me

Before, she had taken nectar from many flowers

Used the days fully from early light 'till late evening hours

She buzzed in my ears and danced on the floor

You could understand why I always clamored for more

And why my days felt this greater ease

Sipping her honey and merrily playing on the knees

All my life I was afraid of bees bearing honey

But this bee taught me pleasures that can’t be bought with money

Except it all faded, the bee stop fraternizing and flew away

Even now I can’t understand why the bee didn’t stay
