Michael’s boyhood was stolen but there’s no doubt that he

As an entertainer gave more than most to society

Not many, if any, can boast to have given in so many ways

In music, in video and how we see Black and White nowadays

Nations throughout the globe celebrate this iconic man

They enjoyed his contributions and how he touched every span

He did more by not having a childhood than we who did

Eccentricities we accepted and we knew the man was a kid

Michael in his life reached out to every race

Included the diversities in his music and at his place

Righted the wrongs by showing those suffering in many countries

Reached into our hearts and souls to help find remedies

Once in an eon we are given humanity this good

Remember there were other greats before who never had a childhood
