The Humbling Night Walk

The job of President Of the United States of America (USA) is one of the most important positions in the world. Your life can be easily overwhelmed. To remain grounded there is nothing better than having a close family life and regular people around that give you a chance to “get back to earth”.

President Barack Obama, in a recent interview revealed some of his grounding things. I continue to be impressed with this great American but I realize that they are many other who can easily become great Americans too.

The Humbling Night Walk

The job has its perks and responsibilities

Has moments regal and some like celebrities

Elegant celebrations and sovereign meetings

Held in majestic Halls our Palace Wings

Unimaginable pleasure and indescribable delight

Many supportive followers that fuel your might

Barack Obama has been exposed to its blinding glamour

Lived on a pedestal but hasn’t changed his demeanor

In the midst of it all he doesn’t forget to be

Never forgets his role in his loyalty

Gives his undivided attention to his wife and kids

Notices their needs and their troubles he rids

It’s incredible how cool our President can be

Giving full attention to country and family

His wit is tasteful and his humility is great

This leader of the free world who has so much on his plate

Walks Bo at night though he could delegate this as a rule

And spare himself from bagging the canine’s stool

Like the devoted husband and father his walk I’ll say

Keeps him humble so I wish him a Happy Father’s Day
