The Fabulous Fathers

When you have learnt to separate business from family and to put family first, when ever it matters then you have become a fabulous dad.

I know just a few people who managed to put family first while still keeping a healthy and productive work environment.

The Fabulous Fathers

The responsibility of raising a family

Had fallen on your shoulders squarely

Expectations were high though support was low

For most of the time it seemed like a one man show

And you toiled to work your way to the top

Bought a home and got membership at the preferred shop

Under harsh conditions you performed stupendously

Learnt to juggle hard work with raising your family

Once your kids were grown new responsibilities came

Using old standards didn’t bare results the same

So you spent more time relearning the kids

Followed their bffs, learnt about Facebook and eBay bids

And you respected their privacy while guarding their safety

Took time off from work to attend each graduation ceremony

How often you praised them and give moral support

Even when their school card had an unfavorable report

Results are positive and Family First does pay

So all you Fabulous Fathers have a Happy Father’s Day
