Becoming Five

Just A Darling Angel has now turned 5 years old. I spoke with here on the phone this morning and it was great to hear her.

She’s like a little lady, her mom say 5 going on 50 because she behaves so mature for her age

Becoming Five

Birds fascinated me, I wanted to fly

Even dreamt that I could soar the clouds high

Caught a young bird one day and kept it in a cage

Only, taking away its freedom made the bird enrage

My bird flew in its prison frantically about

I got no thrills from its ordeal so I let it out

Nothing before had given me such glee

Giving back the bird its chance to live its life free

Freedom to return to its birds of a feather

I learnt how God’s creatures needed each other

Very early, at five I learnt of nature and its beauty

Every one of us should coexist and live our lives free

Just say a prayer my darling

And have faith in the Lord too

Do this and He will bring

All you desire to you

Psalm 145:16

Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

 Matthew 6:33

But
seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
