This Is The Final Call - 2

It’s never too late. This message came from a passenger on the way to board Air France 447 that went down due to thunderstorms. The 228 people on board perished with no signs of their bodies. There is much speculation about these people and their demise. The message came to me and I want to believe there was some truth in it.

This Is The Final Call - 2

The airport was overcrowded but I made a friend

Had no intentions to be chatting, Portuguese I don’t comprehend

I listened carefully but I couldn’t understand

So I asked a kind stranger to lend me a hand

It wasn’t long before we started to share

Some comforting words and in a silent prayer

This kind stranger bowed His head and I did too

His aura seemed to have embraced me, because then I knew

Everything had changed, from that moment on

Flight information was clear, my uncertainties were gone

It was as if a Comforter came and shed His light

Nothing seemed impossible, I felt greater insight

And when the friendly stranger left me I started to read

Little tracts I got in the hotel lobby about faith I should heed

Come some time later I asked forgiveness for my sins

Asked for acceptance and that my new life begins

Loud speaker distorted an announcement but I understood it all

Last call for Air France Flight 447, This Is The Final Call.
