MS - Multiple Sclerocis Day

MS – Multiple Sclerosis, Mock Sport or More Spiritual. Since my diagnosis and loosing my job, I found more time to investigate MS and take a more inward look. I came from a career that saw me working for my last 20 years early mornings through to late nights. I slept 2-3 hrs during these years and didn’t have a vacation or took time off from work. My longest periods of rest were on Sundays when I usually work from late mornings to early evenings. These last 4 years have given me a totally new perspective to life.

MS - Multiple Sclerosis Day

My friend if you had been diagnosed recently

Use this opportunity to grow spiritually

Let the Savior take full control

The guidance He gives would sooth your soul

I had many doctors and one told me

Put the Lord first there’s no known remedy

Let your faith in the Lord heal your pain

Exalt the Savior for there is much to gain

Strength is greater when the spirit is fed

Contentment lies just ahead

Look at the things that you are able to do

Enjoy the wonders of each day and the beautiful nights too

Reflect on the positive and it will bring a smile

Once I learnt this my MS change into My Style

Sickness was no more, My Spirit grew strong

I took its Mock Sport and saw what was wrong

Suddenly this More Sensible approach overcame

Debilitating pain and Mortal Shame

All Misguided Skepticism dwindled away

Yesterday I Mostly Suffered but I’m More Spiritual today!
