The Starcom Ladies

Have you ever had a team of workers you can never forget? Well, I did and even though I have worked with others afterwards, this group still brings good tears to my eyes

A special Mother’s Day to all of them

The Starcom Ladies

There is hardly a day gone by

Hardly a week with my eyes dry

Emotions flair much easier nowadays

Sometimes I focus but often my mind strays

To now distant memories of you

And remembering your devotion and tolerance too

Remembering how you would stop to say hello to me

Chat for a moment respectfully

On those times I needed a tolerant ear

Moments I could never boast of getting elsewhere

Ladies, together as a team

All was made well but it seems all a dream

Dream that fades with time and in disguise

I try hard to hold on but they slip and my heart cries

Emotions flair and through my tears I want to say

Starcom Ladies I wish you a Blessed Mother’s Day
