So That All Can Enjoy You

My very close friend. I wish I could help with some of the chores and even the babysitting but situations and locations make this impractical.

I glad we can share and that sometimes I can help diffuse some of the bombs life toss to you. Although it never feels like I help you much nowadays, you still come back, patiently and involve me in your life. May God Bless you.

So That All Can Enjoy You

Struggling to make all ends meet

On days from work you can’t get off your feet

Then nights you share with friends

Have drinks and dance till the music ends

And the next morning you wake up early

The chores are waiting expectantly

All that you have to do just waits there

Last week’s unfinished work even more you fear

Lurking and growing with no one else to do it

Can’t stand this piling up, this weekend habit

And still the new week comes and you’re off to work

No frowns of fatigue just a frivolous smirk

Everyone around questions why

Nothing defeats you and nobody will try

Joy is written on your face but it’s phony

Only you alone know the trauma you’re faced with daily

You alone putting out the fires in your life

Yesterdays problems rolling into today’s strife

On top of it all you’re able to make life happy for Mani

Use this Mother’s Day to rest physically and emotionally
