Mother Holder

When my mom was abroad studying, I was still very young. In fact, she was away when I was 5 until 13.

Thanks to quite a few females in my life, family, teachers and friends, life was made easier. You see, as good as my dad is, he’s not the motherly type.

Mother Holder

May God bless you for all you’ve done

Once you made me feel like your son

Those years when my mom lived far away

How you welcomed me every day

Earnestly you showed compassion to me

Relished our time together, just as I visibly

Having moments to smile although working hard

Out in the front garden or in the back yard

Lord bless and keep her all the year through

Deliver your grace and your glory too

Even though she never fusses or shows dismay

Remember this loyal servant on Mother’s Day!
