Happy Birthday My Sweet

My old friend, may the writing of this find you in good health. It would be great if I can reach you but I don’t know how to start. Yet in your absence, I still wish to say that you’re still in my heart.

Happy Birthday My Sweet

Memories of our childhood are great

And its excitement we can’t recreate

Reflecting on them brings on a smile

Going through each memory for just a while

And I think of what life has now given you

Residence on the hill, maybe a picket fence too

Even if everything in your life is okay

Today I wish you great reflection and a Happy Birthday!
