May Day

There is little to celebrate in a failing Economy but feel free to celebrate a new day is here.

I am happy to see the Sun and to hear the birds outside. I’m happy to share another day with family and friends. To be able to eat some breadfruit chips and some steamed yam.

May Day

Morning came and the Sun shone bright

A welcome change from the last fortnight

Yesterday was the first sign that change was about

Daylight broke the clouds and the Sun peeped out

All Labor Day celebrations seem misplaced in the slumping Economy

You shouldn’t celebrate when this May Day sees fiscal difficulty
