Monkey Tale

Some of our districts are being run over by monkeys and now many of the crops are in jeopardy. But the only solution to the problem has been advocated by killing of these primates. One caller told the radio program that he sees it much like we killing our “cousins”. Monkeys don’t reproduce as fast as the snails and there are considered intelligent beings; it would be inhumane to kill them because they are competing for food. More humane measures can be taken to control the populations. Shouldn’t were explore these possibilities before we act?

What of the RSPCA? Do they not assist when there is an overrun of any animals, especial mammals and more so primates?

Monkey Tale

Minister cried out “Bring de tails”

Our land bein’ run over by dem and de snails

Keep de populations down from de districts about!

Each time yah find dem coax dem in a snag
