The Road Up Ahead
The reassurance of destiny, of God’s promise to Life Eternity, takes away all your fears and doubts and gives you something to look forward to. When we are close to life’s cross roads an uncertain how to turn, this reassurance that the Lord is always there with you should come to mind and give you faith. The problem is that we want decision and results all in front our eyes at the same time. Remember the Israelites as they travel with Moses for 40 years. They went through many times of regrets, doubts and fears, but the Lord made it all well and save them.

road was long and the troubles hard to bear Had
difficult decisions year after year Everyone
expected so much from me Resisted
temptations to turn off to a new destiny Over
these years I’ve trusted the road up ahead A
narrower path but I rather travel it instead Don’t
feel to turn off nor even to stop Uncertainty
never crowds my mind and I never prop Pushing
on is no drudgery even though the pain is great A
promise has reassured me of a rewarding fate He
travels beside me every step of the way Embraces
and comforts me on every day And
up ahead I see the place I want to be Dear
