Perilous Times Shall Come

2 Timothy  3
1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2 Timothy 3 does not stipulate homosexuality; in fact the only place that homosexuality is implied here is in incontinence. Surely men being “lovers of their own selves” is more about how we see ourselves. This chapter draws more blatant things to our attention. See some of the things that will obtain in the last days that are evils

Perilous Times Shall Come

Pon de last days we will know

Evil among us will blatantly show

Righteousness will overcome

Iniquity shall have to succumb

Lovers of their own selves is not about being gay

Our people should listen to what the words say

Understand them and by them truly live

Show righteousness and the divinity to forgive

The perilous things that we commit

In our lives are evil and here I’ll submit

Many are glossed over but know you this

Evil is sin and these sins are amiss

Some are covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,

Some disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy and others

Have no natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent,

And fierce, despisers of those good and things God sent

Lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God

Lives by these Christians are very flawed

Cause they seem bent on isolating homosexuality

On judging they fellowman for this iniquity

Many others like traitors, heady, high-minded and more

Earn respect in Society but these things God will abhor
