Power, Love, Sound Mind

Put aside your worries measure why you care

Our God didn’t give us a spirit of fear

We received precious gifts and if you look you’ll find

Everyone has gifts of power, of love and of sound mind

Running from your challenges can sap your will

Lower your decisiveness and your spirit until

Only a shell is left, an abomination to mankind

Valor gone you’re powerless, loveless and with an unsound mind

Everyone must utilize God’s wondrous gifts

So as not to be like the proverbial lemmings on cliffs

Once we invite the Savior to reside within

Use His presence to divert us away from sin

Never yield to temptation, He will work evils out

Divinity can pack an unbeatable clout

Mightier than what the competition will bring

Intercession by the Lord gives you the power of a King

No love would be unattainable and through God’s love you’ll find

Deep inside lie the Spirits of Power, of Love and of Sound Mind
