Not By Sight
I had a verse this week that came at the strangest time. I never linked the two things and no one else did either. Yet, the more I think about it the more I realize that something else guides me when I sleepwalk since it is not my sight. The prayers before I go to bed for protection means more than protection from an intruder while I sleep or from fire or natural disaster. Often we think of these things but never do we think of sleepwalking.

Not By Sight Night time sleepwalking can find me Out of the house, dressed for a party Taking a stroll on the sea shore Benign in my steps, sometimes fast or more Years ago I walked regularly Strange places found me unconsciously I walk with my eyes wide open but still I’m blind Got no idea what I see and what’s on my mind Have no idea when I’ll go, or where I’ll go tonight Thank God, I walk by faith, not by sight |
