Happy Easter Day, Friend!

This is the Holiest of all Seasons in the Christian calendar but like all Christian celebrations, its importance seems to dwindle every year.

I am happy to be surrounded by friends who like me, are prepared to accept its importance and share it with all my other friends

Happy Easter Day, Friend!

He died that we might be forgiven

And died to make us good

Promised that once He was risen

People’s hearts will be understood

Yes dearly, dearly He loved us all

El-Shaddai His Father too

And if in troubles He hears a call

Should come and rescue you

Traumatic was the pain He bore

Extraordinary for any man

Receiving a crown of thorns and more

Drilled with nails in each hand

And through it all He was compassionate too

You could have heard Him shout

Forgive them for they know not what they do

Rescind their sins and doubt

In forgiveness to a thief He said

Even today you shalt be with me

No one is abandoned, for us all He bled

Destroyed the chains of iniquity
