The Earthquake In Italy

I write to encourage the survivor to keep L’Aquila alive. I know there was must loss of life and also that not having the necessities from your home and the luxuries you depended on so long must be a total devastation. I can’t possibly empathize enough but what I do know is that I saw the mud in the garden. I never saw the seed that laid underneath but I saw the variety of plant that sprung from mud. Now I’m enjoying some luscious tomatoes and really big okras. The flowers that bloom are great and the birds that visit me chirp sweetly. There is much that can come from nothing and life if allowed can bloom sweetly

The Earthquake In Italy

The rumbles were interrupted by the people’s stifled cry

Her walls may have fallen but "L'Aquila must not die."

Earthquake shook and ravaged the medieval city

Evacuation started in this historic part of Italy

And three days later more tremors again

Residents were scattered all over and some in a train

The reports told us of how over 283 people died

How others were still missing and how survivors cried

Quakes had struck before but this was the worst

Unleashing its fury over three days dispersed

And through all the lost of lives we forget

Keeping alive afterwards bears an enormous treat

Evacuees have little from their homes

Internet, mobile phones, simple tooth brushes and combs

No communication with the rest of the world

Imagine the hopelessness you feel when it all unfurled

Tremors shake up the physical but devastate the mind

An earthquake can leave zombies in the aftermath behind

Listless people who have lost all that they had

Young people feeling that dying wouldn’t have been that bad

Can you do a poem on this unconscionable act by LIME after reading the below.

Cable & Wireless aka LIME sent sending home workers after boosting about $91 million profit. Now under section 10 under their Terms and Conditions now wants to charge interest.

    Section 10:13
YOU MUST PAY YOUR BILL BY THE DUE DATE STATED ON THE BILL.IF YOU DONT PAY YOUR BILL BY THE PAYMENT DUE DATE WE CAN DEBAR YOUR USE OF SOME OR ALL OF OUR SERVICES AND CHARGE YOU INTEREST ON WHAT YOU OWE AT 1.5% PER MONTH. WE WILL CHARGE YOU INTERST UNTIL YOU PAY....

    SECTION 10:8

YOU WILL NOT BE RELIEVED FROM MAKING PAYMENT TO US BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A BILL SHOWING THE AMOUNT OWED ON YOUR ACCOUNT.YOU SHOULD CALL US IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR MONTHLY BILL TO OBTAIN YOU CURRENT ACCOUNT BALANCE.

Why do educated Barbadian and governments foolishly accept this behaviour from monopolies.
