So many people have so much to say and we can’t in solidarity tell this young lady that Barbados loves her and that what ever she does remember this. In Flight Rihanna flew in yesterday On her trip home there was no big hooray Behind the glass door of the arrival hall You could barely glimpse her in a patient stall No fanfares like last time, no Governmental entourage We didn’t see the signs of pinned corsage And I wonder why there seem to be Such disjoint in the life of this celebrity I would have expected her sympathetic fans National reception and more cordial plans Family and fiends with flowers in their support Lots of concern citizens there at the airport Is it only when our own do good that we Give them our cheers and solidarity Have we no concern for the safety of our daughters and sons The Robyn Was In Flight home but where were supportive Bajans |
