God's Little Book Of Hope

This was written on behalf of a friend. Her letter served to inform me of the relationship she had with her friend who is now retiring. They obviously had quite a relationship, these kinds are hard to find.

I wish both my friend and her friend have a continued health relationship with each other and with our Lord, God.

God’s Little Book of Hope

God through His Supreme Wisdom determines the way

Our lives are destined to go each day

Destinies are not clear cut,  not each seed becomes a tree

Some fall on stony soil and will never grow to maturity

Long ago when I came to internship with you

I needed a friendly fertile soil too

The work seemed impossible when I started in ‘78

Then you made it practical through a willingness to communicate

Learning came fast and so too a friend

Every opportunity was a building pillar and fun to spend

Built these 27 years I can now look back

Our days as the “Pre-Madonnas”, the inseparable pack

On those trips in the ever faithful MJ121

Kadooment at the Stadium and parties for fun

Or the Jazz Festivals when we were dressed to kill

Firmly fixed in my mind are those days still

Home life is getup when you want to and go sleep when you wish

Overlook the clocks ticking and prepare each day a craved dish

Put aside all worries its time to be happy

Enjoy your retirement my dear friend Aquinda Bailey
