Hear My Voice Too
There are many days that I write to my favorite radio talk show but get no response. I am only read if I catch one of their moderators. It doesn’t matter how if my poetry are lacking, many of the callers are lacking too. My writings are never immoral, obscene or otherwise unsuitable for the listeners so why can’t they read my 30-60 seconds acrostic. This is my input which you invited by asking us to write in. Why the listeners hear my voice too?

Voice Too How many
people call in and rudely Enunciate
their opinions uninterruptedly And
impaired speakers given a courteous ear Radio moderators
giving them their equal share Men
sometimes call speaking as if they’re in a stupor Yet they
get patience for their verbal blooper VOB’s head
says “One should have their say Oratory
greats or verbally disable, any are okay I
contribute only in acrostic poetry Commenting
to all moderators regularly Except I
only get one chance to be heard There is
only one who shares my written word Only one
moderator gives air to my voice Others hush
me, still I make VOB my choice |
