Forever Young

I close my eyes and sometimes I see a new earth. I can enjoy the animal and the trees. I can move around more freely and faster than when I open my eyes. I feel the times when we can all smile with each other and new speak yet know our every thought. Have you ever thought of one day when you are forever young?

Forever Young

Floating there on that log I saw life drift away

One last moment for me to say a final pray

Rescue me Dear Lord from this cold dark sea

Eternity with you is where I want to be

Very soon afterwards there was no more cold

Evening never came and I didn’t feel old

Running came easy and I could hover and float

Youth pumped through me, under my white outer coat

One look around I saw some old, lost friends

Up there with my Father the days had no ends

Nothing was a bother, no sorrow no pain

God had kept His ultimate promise and I was young again
