I Will Rejoice

My Bible reading today inspired a poem which I will share with you.

Psalm 63:7
 7Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

 

I Will Rejoice

I was in the darkest night

When you shone your eternal light

I was in the deepest pit

Lifted me up with your Holy Spirit

Life was tormented with evilness

Riddled with constant wickedness

Every day seemed worse than the day before

Jesus, you came and I suffered no more

Once I was focused, I never looked back

I kept steadfast and stayed right on track

Clouds brought their darkness but clearer was my choice

Evil abound but faith was stronger and so I Will Rejoice!
