I Saw A Bright Light

There are many questions my friends have about that I am unable to help. It is very difficult to explain something new. I was trying to explain a Jig Saw Puzzle to a friend and found that I was unable to put in words the concept of these interlocking pieces that when correctly matched can result in and underlying image. This was a much easier concept than others I have tried

I Saw A Bright Light

I was in a hurry but age made me slow

Should have stopped and looked more carefully I know

Accidents happen on that corner almost every day

When I crossed the beaming light I miraculously got away

And still a crowd had gathered, they were all wearing white

Barely saw them standing behind the beaming light

Really close the car came, it took my breath away

I must have been struck because my eyes opened to a new day

Got well cared for, in fact the very best

Had youth in my legs and new rhythm in my chest

There was no pain in my body but a sharpness in my eye

Little once obscured insects flew peacefully by

I could fly too and could swim the deepest sea

Got a super charge from the treatment they had given me

Had questions; the car, the beam and more that couldn’t wait

They were all answered when I saw I was in Heaven’s Gate
