Disability

People are rendered disable for so many reasons and we can’t possibly know them all. We shouldn’t judge even when someone disable seem to be bitter, they are challenged by the obstacles we put in their way. They are seldom given a fair chance. Remember when we were young and racing against those younger than ourselves, how we always made their distance shorter?

Disability

Do we not bleed?

If you prick us or are we so different a breed

Should it not hurt

Anytime they come to our house and refuse to work?

Bobcat man abused me with his tongue

I wish I wasn’t so dependent and that I could still get along

Life dealt me a heavy blow

I rushed to the aid of someone I didn’t know

Today I’m disable for doing this good deed

Young man, if you prick me, I would bleed!
