Happy New Year - Family

To my Family and those who are like family, it is with great joy that I write this acrostic. Last year, around this time I was in crisis and there was the possibility of the reintroduction of even more dangerous med and readmission to the hospital. Things gradually got better, good enough to stay off these treatments. This year, all were watchful to see if I was going to make it into the new year without incidence. Well, I did! I still haven’t resorted to where I was prior to this time last year but I’m writing you! May God Bless you all!

Happy New Year

How I wished that we were near

And together we could ring in this new year

Putting aside disputes and faithfully

Promising to resolve impending disharmony

Your love is precious and often missed

Nothing comes between love if we persist

Each day we must pray that the miles though wide

Will not distance love and that the Lord will provide

Years of contentment, pleasure and gladness

Everyday will be one of happiness

And that we can start 2009 joyfully everywhere

Ringing in with delight this coming New Year
