Hits And Run

That comical Christmas song still makes me smile and every time I hear it, I try to see if I can sing along but I still either miss the rhythm of the words.

I probably miss the tune too but like so many other shower singers, I think my notes are spot on.

Hits And Run

Hardly what you would expect

I have never heard such yet

The reindeer never stopped

She probably never saw dear grandma dropped

And now walking home brings fear

Now when it’s this time of the year

Don’t leave too late to get on your way

Resist the punch and great cake and the long stay

Unbelievable but granny did get run over by a reindeer

Now as for me and grandpa, we think it’s a jungle out there
