Guardian Angels

Jim Reeves sang Guardian Angels and he stole my heart. My imagination seemed to grow with fantasies when I was young, too young to understand the truth behind Angels and what they can do. When I got older I opened my spiritual realm, beliefs and understanding. It became possible to believe in the reality of Angels and to accept that they can appear to us in forms that we will be more comfortable with, even in a colleague at work or a little child.

Guardian Angels

Growing up there were many a time

Unfamiliar people were unusually kind

And impending accidents

Rescued before incidents

Deliberate intentions to destroy

Interceded and I’ll hear you’re lucky boy

All my angels worked unaware to me

Never letting me know never letting me see

And then one night at my hospital bed

Nurse came and comforted me and sooth my head

Got affirmations by those on duty

Everyone accounted for and no one visited me

Lord you’ve sent angels to guard me for a reason

Send them to guard my love ones this Christmas Season
