Christmas Is For Kids

If we could remain young and enjoy the season the same way then life would be like in never never land, a dream. One thing we can do though is to keep the perpetuation of this happiness alive by passing it on to the generation behind us. We have managed to carry away so much already from them and robbed them from enjoying many of the things we enjoyed, let us at least give them Christmas

Christmas Is For Kids

Caroling at the neighbors’ front door

Having a Christmas tree bigger than ever before

Running to open gifts wrapped with a bow

Investigating boxes by shaking, then you think you know

Sorrel makes your lips bright colored red

Taking hours before you finally go to bed

Moms baking and it smells throughout the house

And in the night no stirring not even a mouse

Silent Night plays in a distant air

Its soothing sends you off to never never lands where

Sleigh bells ring and on your roof top

Father Christmas is there making his stop

Out through the window it has started to snow

Rays of the street lights have their special glow

Keys unlocked a chest by your bedside

In it are elves who were trying to hide

Driving Fire Engine with the siren at full blare

Soon you awake, it’s Christmas, the happiest time of year
