My Twin Sister

Today is a celebration for my twin sister, it is her Birthday. Wait! That means it’s my birthday too! Today is a celebration for which I should never forget. When I was at school I had some others who celebrated their Birthday today too and I remember how we sought out each other and hugged.  I made it a habit many years after school to remember all my Birthday sisters!

 

My Twin Sister

Mixed feelings come over me

You haven’t been calling regularly

Today’s a celebration but where are you

Will you visit and phone me today too

I miss you Gloria but why shouldn’t I

No longer do you even pass by

Share some time to let me know

Important things happening and where you’ll go

So my feelings are sad and still I’m happy

Times I remember you are more treasured for me

Enjoy the celebrations in your special way

Remember I too will be celebrating our Birthday
