Take Care And Let Lowe Go

This is a not so meaningful play with some of the headlines in the Nation newspaper today.

I would like to write some more meaningful stuff and rather than after the news, I look forward to addressing thing that will, should or didn’t make news

Take Care And Let Lowe Go!

There was an ecumenical service yesterday

A collection of local churches offered to pray

Keep Barbados safe was their general theme

Each said it differently but that’s what it seemed

Church leaders preached to Put God first

All United in Prayer to end Bajan’s worst

Reverend had Warnings for Island Constables too

Esther said Don’t put “limits” on youth, Take Care what they do

And I heard a Disturbing note on Child drug abuse

Now it redefines the age people start misuse

Danger lies ahead if we continue our trend

Let Lowe go says Mia and maybe it might end

Economical slump and there is towering food prices

Two confident Barbados will survive crisis

Life goes on for many who still splurge

Our people can’t resist the spending urge

We Bajans, 35 yrs later, we still can

Enjoy NIFCA and others festivals, like a true Bajan

God has been the people’s guide for past 300 years

Onwards we shall go, inspired, blessed and without fears
