Go my friend and let all see

Race no longer has pedigree

And it has no influence on who we are

Change has brought us a new shinning star

Equality has spread throughout the lands

Got new priority by one who understands

Living in poverty is not a person’s birth right

Opportunity is for any who desires to fight

Rights to live free and grow with grace

Yesterday is bygone, there’re no chains on the Black race

Give life a chance and what ever you conceive

Or have earnest faith in and through God believe

Old walls which once kept you out before
